Corner Brook was very, very different from Edinburgh and a bit of a cultural shock. However the residents were most kind and I made many friends. I was fortunate in coming to Corner Brook and being able to travel home on quite a few occasions. My only child is married here and I have one grandson and two great grand children. My home and family are here for which I am grateful.
