My mother, Irene Daisy Nelson was born in Morden,
Surrey, England. Irene passed away on Dec. 4, 2005, just 18 days short
of her 60th wedding anniversary. My father had enlisted in the Canadian Army with the Canadian Engineers and was stationed in England,
where he met my mother.
